FallsFest Tips

Every year we receive dozens of questions about FallsFest, but some of them come up more often than others and should be of interest to anyone planning to attend. Below are some of the more frequently asked questions and their answers.

Where can I park?
Parking at the Central Services Complex will hold approximately 500 cars. Remaining parking will be available at MPEC. Busses and trolley's will be on rotation bringing patrons into Lucy Park approximately every 20 minutes. Appropriate signage will be in place at MPEC to give you direction.

Can I bring my camera, video camera and cell phone?
Yes. There are no restrictions on electronics being used during the day time hours of FallsFest. However, large camera bags are not permitted. Bring only necessary camera equipment, leaving extra attachments at home. A small fanny pack or camera vest is useful for carrying extra film and small lenses.

Photography, Audio or Video Recording of the Entertainment acts on the main stage after 5:00p.m. is NOT permitted!

Can I bring a purse?
Small purses are permitted. Large purses (tote bag type) are not permitted.

Can I bring water, drinks and food?
No. Many non-profits and for-profit vendors are in the park selling yummy foods and beverages.

Can I bring a folding chair?
Yes. If your folding chair comes in a carrying case, please have the chair out of the case as you go through the main entrance.

Can parents bring a stroller, diaper bag, change of clothes, etc. for their children?
Yes. Strollers and wagons will be hand-searched at the gate. Please bring only necessary items in a small diaper bag, subject to hand-search at the main entrance. Large diaper bags may not be permitted.

Can I bring a pet?
Pets are not permitted at FallsFest and will not be allowed to proceed through the main entrance. The only exception will be trained assistance animals.

Can I bring alcohol into FallsFest?
No, alcohol may not be brought into FallsFest; however, alchohol will be available for purchase at the event.
