OFFICIAL RULES and CONDITIONS OF ENTRY

 

Whereas, this raffle is being held by the Junior League of Wichita Falls (2302 Midwestern Parkway, Wichita Falls, TX, 76308), a registered 501(c)(3) and duly incorporated under Texas laws and according to the terms of the Charitable Raffle Enabling Act is subject to all applicable laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited; and, 

 

Whereas, all net proceeds of the raffle will benefit The Junior League of Wichita Falls; and, 

 

Whereas, Player must be 18 years or older to enter this raffle and be able to claim the prize should Player’s name be selected as the winner, and by purchasing a raffle ticket Player agrees to all following rules, terms, and condition in the Official Rules and Conditions of Entry 

 

Now, therefore, Junior League of Wichita Falls and Player agree as follows. 

 

Entry: Player to jlwf.org to purchase raffle tickets. For each raffle ticket purchased, the person whose name and information that is listed on the entry form will receive one (1) entry into the raffle drawing. Incomplete entries shall be rejected. 

 

Cost: Raffle tickets are one (1) for $10, or six (6) for $50, and are available for purchase only during the raffle period beginning January 30, 2023 and ending April 14, 2023, at 9:00 pm. A valid credit card must be used to purchase a raffle ticket. No mail-in or manual raffle purchases are allowed. 

 

Raffle Prize: The winning raffle ticket will win a four (4) day and three (3) night stay for two (2) at the inclusive Riu Bambu Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic with airfare not included. The winning Player must book the trip between January 1, 2024, and December 31, 2024. Travel insurance is not included. The approximate total value of the raffle item is $800.  

ALL INCLUSIVE FEATURES INCLUDE:
  1. All meals and snacks
  2. All national drinks (non-alcoholic beverages, wine, beer, alcoholic drinks, and cocktails) in the bars and restaurants of the hotel
  3. Minibar and regularly restocked in-room liquor dispenser
  4. Sports, activities, and games such as table tennis courts, aerobics, water polo, volleyball, gym, one introductory SCUBA diving lesson in the pool, two floodlit tennis courts, one multi-purpose sports pitch, windsurfing, sailing, and kayaking
  5. Complimentary access to Splash Waterpark
  6. Complimentary Wi-Fi access throughout the resort

Breakfast Options:
  • Colonial – International buffet.
Lunch Options:
  • Colonial – International buffet.
  • Mama Juana – Beach snack bar.
  • Guests may also dine at the Riu Naiboa within the Riu hotel complex for lunch and snacks.
Dinner Options:
  • Colonial – Buffet and on-the-spot cooking stations. Theme dinners are served twice a week.
  • San Angelo – Italian dining. Open for dinner.
  • Hibachi – Asian restaurant. Open for dinner.
  • Kulinarium Restaurant
  • Palm Beach – Steakhouse Restaurant
  • Ole – Spanish Restaurant

Prize Selection: The winning Player will be selected by a random drawing that will be announced on April 14, 2023. The winning Player shall then work directly with Pocket Aces Travel to book the vacation. The Junior League of Wichita Falls will cease involvement at that time. There is no cash alternative prize available as per Texas state law. The winning Player must agree to accept the prize within 14 days of notification which may be done via phone, email, text, or U.S. Post Office. If the winning Player fails to claim their prize within 14 days, for whatever reason, they shall forfeit the prize, and an alternate winner can be selected.
