The purpose of the JLWF Research and Development Committee is to study and present project and program opportunities to the membership which reflect the mission of the Junior League and address critical needs within the organization's service area.  The Committee works with community leaders to understand local needs and cultivate volunteer opportunities as well as seeks collaboration with other organizations, develops implementation strategies and assists with project evaluation.  Specific attention is given to these focus areas:  Children, the Environment, Voluntarism, Substance Abuse, and Aging.
