Blood Drive – Find the Good Day

Thursday, September 17, 2026 - Thursday, September 17, 2026

The Junior League of Wichita Falls is excited to announce a partnership with Our Blood Institute, American National Bank & Trust, and Donable® Cares to host a community blood drive in celebration of the fourth annual Find the Good Day. The event will support efforts to replenish the local blood supply at a time when blood donations remain critically important to area hospitals.

The blood drive will take place September 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Junior League of Wichita Falls headquarters, located at 2302 Midwestern Parkway. American National Bank & Trust’s Pit Crew will be on site cooking for blood donors, and the bank will help promote the drive to its customers.

“Find the Good Day is all about looking for ways to make a positive difference right where you are, and I can’t think of a better way to do that than giving blood. One person taking a little time out of their day can help save a life, support our League, and ultimately help us do even more good in our community. Our theme this year is The Power of One, and this really brings that idea to life. You don’t have to do something huge to make an impact, sometimes you just have to be willing to show up. We hope our community will come out, give blood, have lunch with us, and help us Find the Good together.” – Isha Howerton, Junior League of Wichita Falls President

With local hospitals continuing to rely on a steady supply of donated blood, every donation can help save lives. The Junior League of Wichita Falls encourages community members to participate and help replenish the blood supply while supporting the League’s mission of developing women to do a world of good through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.

For every blood donation made through the Junior League of Wichita Falls’ designated donation link, Donable® Cares will donate $15 to the Junior League of Wichita Falls. For every first-time blood donor, Donable® Cares will donate $100. This allows donors to support both local patients in need and the League’s work in the Wichita Falls community.
