The Junior League of Wichita Falls, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women, and improving our community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Definition of Terms and Projects:
International Friendship: Over 50 years of goodwill, understanding and cultural exchange exists between the Junior League and the German Air Force Squadron of the Euro-NATO Joint Jet Pilot Training Program at Sheppard Air Force Base.
Pink Pantry: The League partners with local school to drop off period packages to schools across the Texoma region to ensure that no girl is unprepared in the fight against period poverty.
S.E.R.V.E: Supporting Endeavors for Resources and Volunteer Experience: Volunteer time and funding assistance are provided in response to immediate, short-term needs in the community through established non-profit agencies. Volunteer time ranges from a few hours to a one-day project. Grants are given in amounts up to $2500 each.
Partners In Education: The League partners with the Wichita Falls Independent School District to enhance student learning through program and project development and implementation at two elementary schools, Zundy & Burgess. This volunteer and financial commitment also include a partnership with the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank’s PowerPak 4 Kids initiative, an ongoing effort to provide food to at-risk children on weekends and breaks when school meals are not available.
Research & Development: Innovative projects are researched and developed for plausible addition to the Community Plan. Projects must meet a need in both the community and the League.
Food Fight: Each year the new member class manages and facilities our annual Food Fight event. By working with local businesses, we are able to raise over 10,000 pounds of food for the Wichita Falls Area Food Bank annually.
Training: Training is a fundamental and integral component of the Junior League mission. Through job placements and project execution, the Junior League teaches skills and competencies to prepare its members to be effective community leaders. Leadership development and training is what sets the Junior League apart from other community service organizations. Training also reinforces a second component of the Junior League mission, improving the potential of women.
