Help the Junior League of Wichita Falls beat the inadequate access to menstrual hygiene tools and education in our local schools.
This 2020-2021 pilot project, currently housed under our Partners In Education initiative, is designed to provide much-needed menstrual supplies to female students in WFISD.
Statistically, one in five girls will miss a day of school due to the lack of proper hygiene supplies during their period.
By providing discreet bags with hygiene supplies to nurses and counselors for distribution, JLWF hopes to ensure girls with equal opportunities to learn.
As an organization of more than 350 women focused on bettering our community while providing leadership training and opportunity, we are passionate about creating more opportunities for future female leaders through equal access to education.
